The surgery does not triage patients.

Urgent Appointments

These are for medically urgent conditions that require clinical assessment on the same day. These are not for sick notes, repeat prescriptions or for medication reviews.

Request for urgent appointments will booked in directly with a clinician or offered a telephone call back.

Routine Appointments

If you feel you do not not require urgent appointment then a routine appointment can be booked  up to 2 weeks in advance to see the GP.

8.30 am to 12:00 pm

3:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Home Visits

Home visits requests are for the elderly, house bound and for those

too ill to attend the surgery. The doctor will assess each requested visit.

Test results

Kindly telephone the surgery after 2.30pm Monday-Friday.

Blood Tests

We offer a booked and walk in service for blood tests.

This clinic is for blood tests only and the Phlebotomist cannot see you for other health checks (diabetes or blood pressure for example)

Extended Hours opening

Please note that we also offer routine appointments at the following times:

  • Monday and Wednesday evening from 6.30 pm to 8:00 pm
  • (GP’s, Nurses and Health Care Assistants)

Please note there are no other services offered at these times, patients who need urgent medical advice during these times should still ring 111 for advice.

There is now an extended hours hub available at Romsey Hospital. There are GP and Nurse Practitioner appointments available most evenings and weekends. There are also appointments available for the mental health team and the physiotherapy team. These appointments can be booked by the receptionists and GP's here at the surgery. Please contact the surgery if you would like more information.


If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
